The following are some of the standard and optional add-on product features of the SafetyLine NightWatch system.

Pro-Active Check-In Monitoring
Once logged on for a shift, Workers are expected to check in to SafetyLine™ NightWatch at regular intervals.
Workers will be contacted and notified of a missed Check-In after a reminder notification, so as to allow for human error due to forgotten check ins.
If a Worker still does not check in to the system, then they are put in to a state of Emergency on the system and the notification process begins.
This is the true benefit of the SafetyLine™ system as it allows for emergency notification to occur even if a distressed worker is unconscious or otherwise unable to signal for help.

AUPN Software (Automated Ubiquitous Persistent Notification)
During a missed check-in or an emergency, the SafetyLine™ system will automatically contact all pre-designated Monitors on a worker's contact list (see peer-monitoring).
Notification and check-in can be done ubiquitously from any communications device, such as: cellular phones, satellite phones, two-way radios with a telephone interconnect, or any Internet capable computer or device. SafetyLine™ does not require the use of any one particular hardware device.
Users on the Contact List will be contacted in a defined order after preset time delays.
Notification will continue for all Contact List users until contact has been acknowledged and someone takes responsibility for the distressed worker. This ensures that someone is guaranteed to always know if a Worker is in distress.

Panic and Man-Down Emergency Pendant
Worker are be equipped with a pendant device which connects wirelessly. The system comes standard with one Panic Pendant. Additional pendants may be optionally added.
The Pendant is equipped with a PANIC button, which when pressed will instantly set the Worker to a state of Emergency and start the Notification process.
The Pendant is also equipped with a motion sensor which will also automatically start the Emergency and Notification process if the worker is unconscious and does not move for a certain period of time (ie. "Man-Down").

Video Worker-Safety Monitoring

A Digital Internet Video Camera is fitted at the retail location for worker safety monitoring and remote monitor viewing of live and recorded videos of all emergency events.

The system comes complete with one camera, however unlimited more cameras may be optionally added.

IVR Interface (Interactive Voice Response)
Workers and Users can access the system via the IVR Interface (ie. Telephone) for check-in, messaging, and emergencies. This means that as long as a Worker has telephone access, then they have SafetyLine™ access. In most cases, workers will preferentially use a cellular and/or satellite phone with rapid pre-set auto-dials for daily use, check-in's and emergency PANIC notification.

24-hour Automated Monitoring
Because the SafetyLine™ NightWatch system is automated, it is active 24-hours/day. Unlimited Monitors to the emergency contact list, which may consist of any combination of co-workers, supervisors, managers, family members, monitoring centers, and even the Tsunami SafetyLine™ back-up Monitoring Call Centre.

* "All OK" Pendant
Optionally, the retail site may be equipped with an "All-OK" Pendan device.
This is used for rapid "OK" check-ins at regular time intervals.

Cost-Effective Simplicity
SafetyLine™ NightWatch operates as a monthly subscription. Once setup initially, Workers can go about their jobs as usual without the system causing a major burden of time or labor to operate.

Report Logs
Complete report logs are recorded and viewable to manager via the SecurityLine Web interface. This not only collects and stores valuable employee activity and safety information, but also goes to show due-diligence on the part of an employer.

Total Customization
SafetyLine™ can be configured to meet any retail worker monitoring needs. SafetyLine™ is the right solution for EVERY retail lone worker.

Regulation Compliance
Government regulations often require that companies and Government organizations monitor all lone workers. SafetyLine™ NightWatch helps companies meet regulatory and moral requirements for worker monitoring.

Information and Procedures
In the event of a worker Emergency, monitors and responders are not just notified that a worker is in peril - they are also immediately equipped with all of the information needed to make the right decision quickly. This includes: contact information, GPS location (see LBS), dangerous-situation warnings, any voice recordings, history, logs, previous check-in information, as well as the company Emergency Response Procedures guidelines.
